“Rubberwear for the office” The first major structural change for the shop. The interior was torn apart and graffiti added to the ruins. “Truth loves to go naked, but craft must have clothes.” Giant pink rubber letters now spell out the shop’s new name above the door, SEX. Mclaren and Westwood introduce pornography, political sloganeering, plastic and rubber to the now dwindling stock of Rock n Roll attire. The in-house jukebox plays Alice Coopers eighteen and the Count Fives psychotic reaction.
